marzo (update)

Hola,

Grades are due for Specials by the Friday of the week everyone comes back. So, I have taken the time and printed grade reports for all students in grades 4-8 in the past week or so. Those students that are missing assignments need to get their assignments in by Wednesday April 2nd. If a student has a bad grade (6/10 and below), may make corrections on their assignments and return them in for a better grade (maximum point value 8/10). All corrections and make-up work is due no later than the end of school on Wednesday, April 2nd. No exceptions!!!!

Questions, please email or call (Ext. 207).

Muchas Gracias

marzo

Hola,

March is here and I just found out my February blog did not get published. The school is in the middle of DSTP. The kids are really antsy because of all the pent-up energy.

Progress grades went out at the beginning of this month. I have heard back from a few parents. I need to reinterate that some classes have not had me, but a few times this quarter (due to trainings and the snow day). So, if you have any concerns about your child's grade, please get in touch (email or 207).

On the agenda for the rest of the month:

Spanish K-5: Comida
Spanish 6: Enrique & Maria #s 4-5 (reading unit) & Make-up work
Latin 7-8: Roman Gods Activities- Resume/Trading Cards & Make-up work

*Possible Easter activities.

Pascua (Easter):
Easter is here. The Spanish culture celebrates Easter due to the Catholic religion coming over with the Conquistadores. Unfortunately, the Spanish culture does not believe in the Easter Bunny. So, the children do not recieve candy in a basket on this holiday. The people do have fiestas and festivals to celebrate the holiday.

Will keep in touch=)

Feliz Pascua!!!!!
